This is the second segment of On Transit show 30. In this segment, I go on a Ten Toes Walk organized by Portland's Department of Transportation. I talk to the walk's organizer and to a nutritionist about the importance of walking for health and for getting places.
This is the first segment from On Transit show 30. In this segment I ride the Yellow Line light rail in Portland, OR to talk to some business owners along the line. I find out what they think of this transit line, which runs down the middle of Interstate Street in Portland and which opened in 2004.
This is a video I made for work. It is about a project by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board that brought fourth graders from Jenny Lind Community School in North Minneapolis to Mill Ruins Park downtown to work with real archaeologists to dig in the ruins of some of the oldest flour mills in Minneapolis. It is 21 minutes 19 seconds.
The Buscyle, a human-powered bus, visited Minneapolis on June 11, 2006. They made their stop at Altered Aesthetics Gallery, the site of a bicycle art show.
